Am I too tall for the mini pool?
We recommend that you have a maximum height of 5'8" for the mini pool. If you are taller than this you may not be able to fully recline.

Can I use my pool more than once?
The Mini pool has a one year warranty for a 'trial run' practice and for one labour and birth. The pool can be used after this if it cleaned but it no longer has a warranty. The Large Aquaborn Pools have a one year warranty or a 5 use warranty, which ever comes first. A Liner and Outer Cover should be used with the pool at all times.

Do I need extra padding?
The inflated floor chamber is 8.5cm thick and no extra padding is needed.

Which tap connector should I use?
Please refer to the tap connector section of the web site. If you are unsure, the 'multi-use' tap connector fit the most amount of taps.

Can I return the pool if I do not use it?
You can return an Aquaborn pool if it has been unopened and it is within 30 days of purchase. Please tick the appropriate box on the returns form. If the pool or kit has been opened and unpacked refunds cannot be issued.

Can I over inflate the pool?
Yes. Only inflate the pool to 'just firm'. The pool walls will become firmer when water is added to the pool.

To the top of the bottom chamber.

How long will it take to fill?
40 – 60 minutes approx

How long will the water stay hot?
The pool water will stay hot for at least 24 hours. It loses just 4 degrees in 12 hours when the lid is used and even less with an outer cover.

Can my partner get in the pool with me?
Yes, if you have a large sized pool.

How do I adjust the water temperature?
Take the pool water out with a clean pan or bucket and add the same amount of hot water. Do not pour hot water against the sides of the pool.
What to do after you have finished with your birth pool.

Can I remove the liner when there is still water in the pool?
Can I remove the liner when there is still water in the pool? There is likely to be a small amount of water in the pool after you have emptied it. You can remove the remaining water which is inside the liner if it is less that 1cm deep. If not you may need to bail some more water out.

How do I clean my mini pool?
Wash the pool out with a Milton sterilising solution and dry thoroughly before storing.

How do I recycle my pool?
Send it back to us and tick the appropriate box on the return form.

What will happen to the pool when it is recycled?
The pool will be broken down into plastic pellets and used for the manufacture of other plastic products.

Can I use my pool for anything else?
Yes. Many people keep their birth pools as children's play items. Please take care to supervise children at all times when using this birth pool.
